Cyber Security Solutions

The Cyber Security Institute (CSI) is an information and cyber security company that offers bespoke training in partnership with universities to both public and private entities. CSI also assists companies to manage cyber security risks, by establishing a unique strategy and guiding the implementation thereof by way of an Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Professor Elmarie Biermann

Professor Elmarie Biermann holds a PhD in Computer Security and brings a wealth of experience from both academic and private sectors. With an extensive list of international research and technical publications, she is recognised as a keynote speaker and a frequent expert panelist on topics including cyber-crime, cyber warfare, and cyber intelligence. Previously, she held an Adjunct Professorship at the French South African Institute of Technology, where she pioneered research in Security within the Nano-satellite environment. Professor Elmarie currently serves as an Extraordinary Associate Professor in the Department of Strategic Studies at Stellenbosch University.
