CPUT & F’SATI Short Courses

Practical oriented training courses are provided in partnership with the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) and the French South African Institute of Technology (F’SATI). These short courses are industry-specific and provide delegates with hands-on, unique content developed by CSI.

The courses combine essentials from both industry and academia to provide valid, unique, practical content that are innovatively presented via facilitated e-learning, workshops, virtual sessions, simulations and gamification platforms.

Practical, hands-on course focusing on establishing a foundation in Cyber Security introducing the candidate to cyber-crime, attack methods and managing cyber risks. 

Mode of Offering: Course is presented via facilitated e-learning, utilizing an e-learning platform and virtual classes.

Duration: 5-months

Costs: R 9,500 all inclusive

Intake: Applications are accepted throughout the year, with course starting dates in March, June and August.

Requirements: Matric certificate or equivalent qualification with suitable IT knowledge, Internet access and PC or laptop on which applications can be installed and services accessed.

Cyber Investigations

Suitable for investigators and investigation teams within the corporate environment and public environments that are required to follow online trails or utilize tools to solve online crimes. Also intended for professionals and investigative journalists involved in investigations, such as fraud, espionage, data theft and cyber vetting.
